Orders, accounts, and support

Shopify provides our checkout and customer accounts. Information you submit there can include your name, email, addresses, order details, and payment information. Shopify and its payment providers process checkout payments. We use customer and order information to fulfil purchases, provide updates, handle returns, and help with support requests. If you email our concierge, we receive the information you include in your message.

Registry information and visibility

We store registry details, gift selections, requested and purchased quantities, and any buyer name supplied when recording a purchase. A registry shared by link can be viewed by anyone with that link, and link holders can edit desired and bought quantities. A registry listed publicly also appears in our Find a registry directory. Private registries are not listed publicly.

Buyer names are available to the couple and authorized staff; they are not included in public registry views. Share links only with people you intend to give access to your list.

Cookies and browser storage

This storefront uses browser storage to remember your cart, wishlist, and recently viewed products. Sign-in and connected services use cookies to maintain sessions and protect access. Our hosting and commerce providers also receive technical information needed to deliver and secure their services. You can manage cookies and stored site data in your browser; clearing or blocking them can remove saved preferences or interrupt sign-in.

Service providers and Shopify data sharing

We use Shopify for commerce and customer accounts, Lovable for website hosting, and Supabase-backed services for saved registry data. Service providers also help with payment processing, delivery, and email support. Information needed to perform those services is shared with them.

Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled for our store. Shopify may combine customer data from this store with data from other Shopify merchants to improve its products, personalize experiences, and support targeted advertising. Shopify provides data-sharing opt-out choices in applicable regions. You can contact our concierge for help with these choices or a privacy request.

Marketing choices and privacy requests

Review the email marketing choice at checkout and uncheck it if you do not want offers. You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or to ask about data-sharing choices, email concierge@ambientegourmet.us. We may need to verify your identity and retain records needed for orders or legal obligations.
